Bio:
“Z d O” [ZONA D’OMBRA – SHADOW ZONE] is a metal band of the north of Italy (Milan) active since March 2005, constituted by Ivano Gobbi as singer, Emanuele Rognoni to the bass guitar, Gian Luca Bassignani to the drums and Luigi Bellone to the guitar. The proposed musical genre is a melodic death metal with some progressive taste. Since its formation, the band dedicated to the writing of original songs, which lead to the issue in June 2005 of the first promo-album self produced “Noise Reduxion”, which contained 9 tracks (of melodic heavy metal). In April 2007 the ZdO recorded at Number One Studio by Fabio Calcagni a further promo-CD [“Death is coming”] which traces the turn towards a death-metal sounding, without leaving the particolar focus to the melody and to the progressive trend of the rhythmic section (bass-drums). Currently ZdO are finishing the songwriting of new tracks – whose writing involves always all the four members of the band – to start the pre-recording sessions to complete the track-list for a future full-length album. |
